IP Ltd acts for clients before Patent Offices, Trade Mark Offices
and Intellectual Property (IP) Offices in the UK, Europe and
internationally to protect inventions. trade marks, designs
and other forms of IP. We can also identify and review published IP
rights held by competitors so as to try to reduce the risk of
infringing any validrights held by them. This is sometimes known as
a "freedom to operate" (FTO) analysis.
We advise on many other IP matters, including infringement and
validity analysis, providing opinions, assisting with licensing and
assignment of IP, filing oppositions and appeals, managing and
improving IP portfolios, etc.
Our work is undertaken exclusively by our Managing Director, Martin
White. Martin has over 30 years of experience in advising on IP and
has obtained many patents, designs and trade marks for
clients. He has worked both in industrial patent departments
and in private practice and has been awarded the Strode Prize for
the highest mark in the UK patent practice examination. Martin
provides regular talks and seminars on IP matters.
We
act for a wide range of clients, from individuals to large
companies and can budget accordingly. Examples of
clients are provided on the "Clients" page.
We offer a
free, no obligation telephone consultation or a meeting by
appointment. We
would be happy to hear from you if you are a client or a potential
client.
